Automotive Technology.

The Automotive Research Association of India, popularly known as ARAI and SIT (Symbiosis Institute of Technology), Pune have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in March 2023 to offer M. Tech. program in Automotive Technology. The course admissions are open. Subsequently, the course will start soon.

The duration of the program is two years. Students would be inducted at SIT in the First Semester and classes would be conducted at SIT, Pune campus. In the second semester, students would be at ARAI Academy, Chakan, Pune to study the latest technologies and get hands-on practical exposure. The second year of the M Tech course will be totally devoted to project work, which is generally sponsored by Automotive Industry or can also be carried out at ARAI or SIT based on student’s interests. Automotive Industry has welcomed this association since this course would also allow some sponsored candidates from the industry to register.

About the Program

This M. Tech program intends to develop modern Automotive engineers required for the task of design and development in the automotive industry. We strive to improve the technical and professional skills of students through various teaching methods, hands-on and out-of-classroom education.

    COURSE FEES
  • INR 1,85,000 /-
  • For Gate qualified candidates, admission will be given based on the valid Gate score.
  • For non-Gate candidates- The entrance examination and personal interview will be conducted at SIT, and based on the score of the entrance exam, admission will be offered.
  • B.Tech./ B.E. in Mechanical Engineering/Electronics and Communication/ Computer Science/ Information Technology and other related disciplines of Engineering with minimum of four years duration from any recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% Marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes)
  • Industry professional supported by respective company and having minimum two years of experience with minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% Marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes) in BE/BTech are also eligible.
